Puratan Rits

We are breathing new life into centuries-old compositions (puratan rits) of the shabad kirtan tradition. Based on our study with Ustad Harbhajan SIngh and Ustad Gurdev Singh of the Namdhari-Rababi tradition, our ongoing research in India and Pakistan, and the considerable archives of compositions in old books, we will be producing monthly recordings so that this rich heritage is kept alive.
